These are strange and stressful times we are living in. In less than a month, most of us have gone from never having heard of the coronavirus, to being cooped up in our homes riding out a global pandemic. Anxiety levels are spiking.
I wanted to share what I am doing to continue to provide psychotherapy to my clients during this unsettling time. For the time being, I am following the guidance of health officials to avoid all unnecessary contact with other people. This means that all of my therapy sessions will switch over to an online platform. All sessions will be conducted virtually via https://doxy.me/sacredbeginningspsychotherapypllc This platform was chosen because it is HIPAA compliant, ensuring that none of your protected health information will be compromised. It is easy to use and does not require an account to sign in or any form of payment from the client or healthcare provider. Most of the benefits of in-person sessions will remain the same. You will have the same 50 minute hour to meet with me. One of the important things during these trying times is to keep some sort of structure, routine and predictability. Continuing to see clients and support them through these times is one of my top priorities. As of this writing, I am still accepting new clients and will offer a free initial consultation appointment to anyone who wishes to begin therapy or step back into therapy after some time away. This is not the time to turn people away during a worldwide pandemic and a time of higher than normal anxiety. As always, please reach out with any questions... [email protected]
